Hi Everyone. Long Time No Blog. I KNOW! Since April life became a little crrrrrazyyy. But all for the good. So much has changed and I can proudly and HAPPILY say my husband and I (and our pups) will be official residents of NEW ENGLAND very soon.  That’s right. Everything that I have loved so much about New England… so much that I started a blog about everything New England inspired will become ‘home’.  It’s a dream I honestly wasnt sure that would come true… but it was a goal of ours and when it was meant to be it happened and everything fell into place.  My husband has been there (with the pups) since MAY!!!!!!! Can you believe it? We have been doing a lot of back and forth but we will soon be back together as a family and life will resume with a fresh start.  I haven’t been able to talk about this. I mean I am an open book and will let anyone in but I just couldn’t go there. Not about this. Not about something that meant SO much to us and that we were taking a chance and uplifting our life for… but I wanted to let everyone know I will be back. For good. Very very soon. More inspired than ever ANDDDD we get to re-decorate a house together. A truly New England inspired home. I cant wait! and get this. We close on our home in philly the weekend of our anniversary… and then …. I leave my husband, and dogs and our new life for Paris to attend some fabric shows for a week. but hey.

sweet dreams.

I really need to get back into the swing of things and continue to blog about being INSPIRED! I have been too busy with focusing on getting our beloved home on the market. Well. It officially is on the market. For a few days now… and the hubs has been living in MA for a few weeks. ((miss him… and my pups)) This has been a veryyyyy big transition but it will ALL be worth it to be back in New England with family and. the ocean. I have been doing a lot of yoga and taking deep breaths. Every single day. One day at a time…. but in the midst of it all I am trying to remain positive and remember that everything happens when it is meant to. It always does!  I just got back from a whirlwind 48 hour trip to Peru for work, so I am actually taking this weekend to relax. WHAT? relax… yup! trying. now that all the major projects in the house are done what is a girl to do?
I havent finished the master bedroom re-do. but do I dare continue while the house is on the market or focus on that once we are in a new space?

At the airport preparing to take off in about an hour to fly back home… just have the 15 hour flight to get thru and ahhhhh… back with the fam!!  I am not feeling well at ALL and it is times like these (far away from home, full busy days, and sick) I am so so so thankful for my life and everyone in it!!!

Appreciate what you have. Always.

It has been an innnnnnnnnnsane week. TGIF TOMORROW!!! WOOT WOOT!!!  Lilly P has kept me super busy finalizing the fabric and trim for the Resort 2011 line ANDDDD trying to get ready for my trip to Hong Kong this weekend. This will be the first of quite a few trips this year.  Will be back next Friday with lots of stories and photos OF COURSE!!!  Going for Spring and Summer 12 development andddd to talk some serious BIZ … right before their Chinese New Year begins!! Its always such an exciting time in China and Hong Kong at this time of year. 2010 was the year of the Tiger and 2011 is the year of the RABBIT! Supposedly… ” People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise. They are most compatible with those born in the years of the Sheep, Pig, and Dog”…

What animal are YOU?

Wish me LUCK!!!

This is COMPLETELY random but has become COMPLETELY helpful to me in my life with two very furry poms (pomeranians). When bathing them, I add anywhere between a 1/2 – 1 cup of salt to the water. It literally sucks the life out of any awful little flea that may be hangin out. My dogs are allergic to the typical preventative medication for fleas and ticks so I need to educate myself in gentler but successful alternatives. And as you get to know me you will learn that I stttttttttttrongly dislike critters, dirt or germs in our home. I like it to be comfy and clean. At all times. So. Today my kids had a salt water bath to wash away the holiday crazzzzzyness. Try it sometime. its FAB!
